HELLO U.S.A.!
So happy to back in LA after a 21 day trip with my husband to Thailand and Tokyo! We had an amazing time, and over the next few days I will be sharing my favorite looks from the trip. Packing for a vacation is one of my FAVORITE things to do!
Here are some tips/ inspiration for your Asian Adventure wardrobe:
First Stop Bangkok
It’s a crazy, hectic, and FAST moving city with beautiful temples, delicious Thai food, tuk- tuks that weave in and out of traffic like a boss, and the most beautiful rooftop bars, pools and views!
Temples:
To respect Buddhist tradition, you have to cover your shoulders and your ankles when visiting temples. I opted for a long black dress with a flower kimono, and gold shades to match the backdrop. This look was super easy, comfortable and CHEAP!

Rooftop Bars and Pools:
Bangkok has so many of these with spectacular views. Luckily for us, this one was in the hotel, just a few floors up. The city was shrouded in perpetual smog (not surprising given the traffic jams below), but the views and sunset were breathtaking. I wanted to wear something simple and airy to deal with the HOT days and nearly hot nights, and this BCBG romper dress was perfect!
