Overalls are All Over!

OK I have to admit I was traumatized by overalls ever since my mom made my sister and me wear matching jean ones on a flight to Hawaii circa summer 1999! However, when I started looking for overall inspiration there were so many fashion bloggers rocking the look! Luckily I stumbled upon one of my favorite bloggers looking chic in them, which I originally thought was mission impossible. BUT good news, it can be done: just pair with a wedged shoe, cropped top, and fun shades!

Sugar High, Weekend Good-bye!

Weekends are the dessert of the week, wouldn’t you agree?! So it’s only fitting that I stuffed my face with ice cream and shaved ice this weekend. I LOVE weekends, but hate how quick they come to an end. This weekend was spent shopping, exploring our new hood, and EATING!

Right now is the best time time to hit the mall for summer deals. This bodysuit was only $3 at Forever21, and these shorts from Zara were only $9. Sunglasses were $10 from a street vendor!

Hope you all have a sweet week!

Happy 60th Disneyland!

This summer my sister, husband and I went to Disney World to celebrate my sister’s graduation from ASU (Go Devils!) and my 26th birthday. We had such a wonderful day, riding teacups, stuffing our faces with churros, and snapping special moments throughout the day!

Knowing that pictures would be taken, I just had to have the perfect Disney outfit. After hours of pinteresting, googling, and even stalking Disney’s Instagram for the perfect outfit inspiration, I decided that I could put together an affordable, stylish, and let’s be real… a COMFORTABLE Disney World outfit.

Disney attire tip: instead of spending loads of money on souvenirs, hats, t-shirts, you name it at the actual theme park, head over to nearby drug stores, Targets, or Walmarts (I actually went to Claire’s for our Minnie Mouse ears for $6.50) for affordable Disney-themed items.

Heels over Hills

pink skirt 2

A few weeks ago I did an amazingly fun shoot, with an amazingly talented photographer, in one of the most amazing cities in the world- San Francisco. I recently traded in Nob Hill for the Hollywood Hills. While I LOVE Los Angeles, and have dreamed of living here ever since I was a little girl, I do miss the colorful homes, the fog rolling in and out of the city, and the cool breeze of the bay. However, there is certainly one thing I do not miss – those hills, no matter how good of a workout they may be. I laugh at the thought of this shoot because I almost fell a hundred times in these cute Target shoes (now on sale in select locations!). During my short stint in SF, my high heels went on hiatus. While it was a sad time for my “sole mates” and me, I am happy to report that they are now hitting the hot LA pavement and I couldn’t be happier!”

Jump Around!

Hi, my name is Ana, and I have a serious addiction to rompers and jumpers. One of the reasons I am so obsessed with them, is because of how easy they are to wear, unless you need to pee! I fell in love with this colorful tribal print, but fell more in love with the $19 price tag at Ross!

jumper1This yellow clutch is one of my favorite bags this summer! I love the color and cut out detail. Found this cutie at Marshalls for $19. Here’s a link to a similar purse! (Yellow Clutch)

Feeling Flirty in Florals

Hello! Welcome to my blog, Ana Budget! This is my first blog post and I am SO excited to be on this journey with you! Ever since I was a little girl, my mom taught my sister and me to go straight to the sale racks, and I have been doing that ever since! I will never spend over $50 for anything in my wardrobe including shoes, bags and accessories. I LOVE a good bargain, but what I love even more is the thrill of the hunt for hot affordable trends! I hope my blog will inspire you to shop cheap, without looking it!
